The day after the event in Mora de Rubielos (see article), Correos presented the ATM issue in Albarracín dedicated to the Liopleurodon which aroused more international interest and attention.
In collaboration with Territorio Dinópolis, this issue was released on April 21st in the best possible location, the Mar Nummus in Albarracín, some 40 kilometres west of Teruel. Mar Nummus is one of the sites of Territorio Dinópolis, the great theme park dedicated to dinosaurs, consisting of a large central park in Teruel and seven other centres in seven towns in the province.
Mar Nummus, standing out in its surroundings with a replica of the gigantic marine reptile Liopleurodon on the roof (main image), is dedicated to the living creatures that inhabited the Tethys Sea, which covered the Albarracín mountain range 150 million years ago.
One of the highlights of this small museum is the fossilised skull of a Liopleurodon, used to illustrate the ATM issue.
