With the 2023 ‘Bountiful Rabbit’ or Year of the Rabbit design, Chunghwa Post brings to a close the annual series of variable value stamp issues released since 2012, dedicated to the Lunar Year or animals of the Chinese horoscope.
According to the Chinese lunar calendar, the Year of the Water Rabbit began on January 22nd 2023 and ends on February 9th 2024. Taiwan is the fourth postal administration to issue a variable value stamp dedicated to the Year of the Rabbit in 2023, following Singapore (see article), Macau (article) and Gibraltar (article).
